And my coworker got his Wii. His brother got one too but he’s a bastard and is selling it for some profit. Said he’d buy it again later when the games he wants are out.

So, I think someone at Fox really hates Tim Minear. So much so that they pay him a lot of money for a development deal to keep him around and just him shows to keep him busy that they cancel after a handful of episodes. For that I say fuck you Fox. If you’re not going to give shows like Firefly, Wonderfalls & Drive a chance, can you please just stop giving them the go ahead? Stop giving them horrible timeslots. Stop creating wacky schedules where you don’t have a clue when the shows airs if you actually do want to watch it. I haven’t a clue when Bones airs these days as the timeslot had already changed 3x after only one season and I’ve just given up because it’s not worth it. It’s so sad to think of all the wonderful shows that have gotten the can at Fox while crap like American Idol gets something like 4 hrs a week.

Pokemon arrived in the mail yesterday. I’ve got Pearl and my code is 4038 2534 3945.

I found my very FIRST Wii in a store today. Stopped by Walmart to do shopping and needed to buy my mom her birthday/mother’s day gift which involved a stop in the electronic’s section. There was a Wii in the case. Of course, unlike the PS3, I actually saw someone buy one in the 2 minutes I was in the section. I called up one of my co-worker to tell him I found it because his brother has been wanting one but has refused to wait at stores for hours on Sundays just to get it. And yes, there was a PS3 in the case as well. They only keep one up front and the rest sit in the stock room because they don’t have much room for the systems.

So a ton of albums that I preordered a month ago but don’t come out for a few months got leaked in the last two days. And I’m too impatient to wait another 2 months to get the CDs in my mail. *drools over Iced Earth & Kamelot*
And one of the crappy plastic hubcaps on my car came off a few days ago. So I took the rest off and decided I’m finally going to upgrade to some nicer rims instead of the stock steal. Just trying to unload some stuff on ebay and find the best deal I can.

Oh yeah.. And the following is advice to live by.

So I constantly get e-mails from Circuit City, usually telling me I can save up to $500 on the purchase of an HDTV. Generally there’s nothing useful but they were selling Command & Conquer 3 for only $30 a week after it’s release. And now, they’ve got a $7 discount on the new Pokemon games for the DS. I got the e-mail originally yesterday and by the time I went to the link they were both sold out. However, I checked again this morning and both are in stock as of this posting. You can get free shipping and even with taxes I paid less than $30 total.
